Senior Brielle Kero sets new school record in the 400 - twice!

Senior Bulldog track star and captain Brielle Kero reset the school record in the 400 meters Tuesday night at the Dan Juntilla Memorial Invite at Houghton. Brielle had bested the HCH record of 59.69 seconds set in 1999 at a prior meet with hand timing with a time of about 59.4 seconds.
But then Tuesday (May 28, 2024) with fully automatic timing, she ran another personal best and now has set the school record at 58.92 seconds. She has one more opportunity to further improve this mark on Saturday (June 1st) at the UP Track & Field Finals at Kingsford. Brielle will compete individually in the 400 and 800 and also anchor the 4x800 and 4x400 relay teams for the Bulldogs.
